CMONUP

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 29, 2026

The short version

CMONUP has no account and no advertising. Your alarms, history, camera frames, and motion data stay on your iPhone. The only thing the app sends anywhere is anonymous usage analytics: which screens you reached and whether a mission was completed, with no name, email, location, or advertising identifier attached.

Analytics

To see where people get stuck, CMONUP sends anonymous usage events to TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service hosted in the EU. An event says, for example, that an onboarding page was shown, that an alarm was set, that a mission was completed or given up, or that the subscription screen was shown. Each event carries your device model, iOS version, app version, language, and region, and a one-way hash of an app-specific identifier so repeat use by the same device can be counted. That hash cannot be turned back into a device, and the app never uses the advertising identifier or asks to track you. TelemetryDeck does not sell or share this data; see TelemetryDeck's privacy policy. Nothing you write, photograph, or say is ever sent.

What stays on your phone

  • Alarms and history. Your alarms, mission settings, and wake-up history are stored in the app's private container on your device. They are included in your normal iCloud or iTunes device backup like any other app data.
  • Camera. Camera missions (Sky, Spot, Find, Write) analyze the live camera image on the device using Apple's Vision framework. Frames are not saved, except the single reference photo you take yourself to set up the Spot mission, which stays in the app's container. Nothing is uploaded.
  • Motion. Step and Shake missions read the pedometer and accelerometer on the device. Nothing is stored beyond the count for the current mission.
  • Alarms. CMONUP uses Apple's AlarmKit to schedule alarms. Alarm times are handled by iOS on your device.

Purchases

CMONUP Pro is an auto-renewable subscription sold through the App Store. Apple processes the payment; CMONUP only receives an anonymous confirmation from the App Store that your subscription is active. We do not see your name, email, or payment details. An analytics event records that a trial or purchase happened, with the product, the storefront country, and the price, but no transaction or account details.

Notifications

If you decline the subscription after your free morning, CMONUP may ask permission to send one local reminder that evening. Local notifications are scheduled on the device and involve no server.

Children

CMONUP does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children. The analytics events described above are anonymous.
